IS SATIVEX THE FUTURE OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA, OR A 'MIST' OPPORUNITY

For the first time in history, a cannabis-derived pharmaceutical has been officially accepted for medical use, and wouldn't you know it - those freewheeling Canadians were the first ones in line. Sativex, an oral spray produced by U.K. based GW Pharmaceuticals, is now available by prescription to Canadian patients suffering from multiple sclerosis, for combating episodes of "neuropathic pain" associated with that degenerative condition. Sativex sounds great so far, but before we run off and light up our victory joints, we have some questions for GW, like why they've trademarked the naturally occurring cannabis compounds in the drug, and whether it will be affordable to medical marijuana patients.

Thank you High Times Magazine.
