Skill Of The Month: Setting Up A Grow Room

For an experienced marijuana horticulturist, constructing a fully functioning grow room accommodating up to sixty plants will take less than a day, once all of the required components and materials have been assembled. Building the grow room, however, is really just the beginning. In an outdoor garden, Mother Nature takes care of most of the plant's needs, but indoors, it's up to the grower to provide light, air, water, and nutrients, consistently and in the proper amounts.

The first thing you need is seeds or clones. Whichever you use, try to get the best genetics possible, and make sure you're growing a strain of cannabis bred for indoor gardens. The more you know about the strain the better, including it's strengths and weaknesses, how tall it usually stretches, how much it yields, and how many weeks it will flower before the buds peak.

Not all cops are anti-pot. The good men and women of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (http://www.leap.org/) are actually working to make pot legal. Modeled after Vietnam Veterans Against the War, which used the credibility of combat veterans to denounce an unwinnable and disastrous conflict, LEAP membership is open only to cops, DEA agents, prosecutors, and other accredited law enforcement officers. Even still, most members wait until they retire from the force before taking the leap into the opposition, as dissesension in the ranks is not tolerated in the War on Drugs. So if you're a cop, and you know firsthand the horrible hypocrisies of the drug prohibition, please join up with LEAP and help everyone come to their senses. You owe it to every citizen you were forced to fuck with because of a system that's out of control. Avoid tobacco mixes. Odds are, if you live in the United States, you can't get good imported hashish with any regularity. Europeans often mix their weed with tobacco, and almost always mix it when rolling hash.

If you don't normally smoke tobacco, puffing down on one of these "blends" will turn your face the deep green of a late-summer sativa, and be a waste of good hash, as well as your lunch. And if you do regularly smoke tobacco, you should stop immediately.
